The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model is pretty simple: People sign up for a share of farm’s production and contribute funds ahead of the season. The farm uses the money to buy supplies like feed, seed, potting soil, etc - some of the many things it takes to keep the farm running. We then pay our members back over the season with food from the land, raised especially for them! This relationship allows us to order supplies ahead of time and in bulk, which helps control costs and keeps our food prices consistent. It also gives us the flexibility to place our focus wherever it's needed on the farm. A life closely tied to livestock and the weather can be unpredictable and unforgiving; the support of CSA members eases some of that stress. In return, CSA members get to know how their food is grown and contribute to the health of their community by supporting farmers that take good care of their land and animals. How it works: To use your CSA credit shop with us on our website or at any of our farmers market booths to select the in-season products you need as you need them. CSA share credits do not expire. CSA shares receive 7% extra credit from the farm, first dibs on hard-to-get items, and free attendance at any farm event/tour. :) $300 Shares receive $321 worth of goods. $500 Shares Receive $535 worth. $700 shares receive $749 worth. Thank you for believing in local food and in us. We couldn't do it without you! Your investment helps a family farm to grow.
