Hello, my name is Austynn. I have been a Girl Scout for six years. My goal is to sell 1,550 boxes of cookies.
I love selling cookies! As a cookie entreprenuer, I am learning essential life skills such as goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
Cookies also help my troop fund many activities like community service projects and fun adventures. Some of our service projects include planting flower gardens, picking up trash, food donations to various food pantries, and becoming citizen scientists to help collect research about creeks and rivers. This summer we will design and build flower gardens and an outside sitting area for an assisted living center. For our fun adventure we are planning a primitve camping trip into the Adirondacks.
I'm very sad that I won't get to visit you in person. You can usually find me at farmer's markets and booth sales during the month of March. This year because of Covid-19 I am not able to attend. With the help of my friends at Quarry Brook I am able to provide this alternate way for you to show your support.
